The Salco MK-4 offers much improved seal joint efficiency and requires 40-50% less operator effort compared to other strappers in its category.
The MK-4 punches an inter-locking pattern in the overlapping straps, eliminating the need for seals. The seal-less joint creates higher joint efficiency and lower overall costs!
Designed specifically for high tensile steel strapping, it also provides impeccable durability in all basic strapping applications

The Salco MK4 sealless combination steel strapping tool is suited to either horizontal or vertical strapping of pallets, boxes, cartons, bales and other transport packaging. It also can be used for fastening of crates.

The MK-4 strapping tool is suitable for standard steel strapping as well as for high tensile strapping. It is adjustable for steel widths of 1/2" , 5/8" and 3/4" widths. By using the extra strap guides supplied with the tool you can easily change from one strap width to another.

The punch and the cut depths can be adjusted for different strap thickness, in the range from 0.015" to 0.030", high-tension - up to 0.025". The tool is adjusted at the factory as a rule for the 0.020" thick and 5/8" wide strap. At customer's request we will adjust the tool for other strap thickness and width.
