- We are needing to find a way to staple a 30" deep box onto a 4" pallet. Our traditional handheld stapler isn't working because our employees are too short to reach. Do you make something that might work for this? I was thinking if there was something like the hammer staplers, but that ejects the staples from the end instead of the side, that may work. Any suggestions you can give us would be greatly appreciated.

- Yes, the tool for that application is sometimes referred to as a "walking stick" carton stapler. There are various versions, depending on the type of corrugated to be stapled to a pallet. Can you advise the thickness of the corrugated material; single-wall, double-wall, tri-wall; standard or over-spec.? Also, is this an occasional application, or one done on a steady, production basis? Are you currently using pneumatic staplers for carton closing? "C" series [1 1/4" crown] or "A" series [1 3/8" crown] staples? With this additional information we will be able to recommend the appropriate Salco stapling product.
