The full strength of corrugated boards is achieved
with a bottom clincher stapler, since the staple clinches every
board layer, while the compression action fully utilizes the board's
springiness. The bottom of the box will remain stable for as long
as necessary.
When a large number of boxes must be closed, a pneumatic bottom closer should be used, the modular design permits adoption for special
requirements.
A top carton clinching stapler does not need counter
pressure, which makes it ideal for fast and secure closing of lids.
Top carton staplers are available in both manual and pneumatic versions.
The pneumatic models are rapid cycling, with efficient silencing
and ergonomically shaped hands. The stapling depth can be set to
any of five levels. The manual models have the same lower design
and are ideal where there is no compressed air supply available
or a greater degree of movement is needed.
Trays, corners and edges are best joined with side-arm
staplers or pliers. We have four side-arm clincher stapler versions,
all in stock.
The compressed air driven plier provides increased freedom of movement
and is particularly suitable for getting into places with difficult
access. The plier nose and tongue are specially shaped to apply
the correct compression to the board.
